Before the Party

So last saturday I had this amazing class- get together party and needless to say I had a wonderful time in the party.. i mean I danced like crazy. Lately Barranquilla has been hotter than usual.. i mean what is with the 38 Celsius temperature? i mean this is really serious!!You can't imagine how this city is mean to me.. i hate to sweat.... God hopefully 2 more years in high school and then I can go and make my future in New York! Well anyhow before the party I went to one of my closest friend and some of my friends arrived there just to chat and get really fir the party.. please notice that with this temperature its useless to wear any makeup because it would melt instantly and any accessories yo may want to wear may end in the garbage since it is too hot to feel uncomfortable!! oh and now is the phase when it rains on sunny days.. yeah the weather is crazy as sh!t... I can't live here anymore....


Yeah yeah... i know my jean dress is trashy-short but i wore a lycra short underneath so it was fine...

Side Braids
So last years were in the Milkmaid braids and this trend has evolved into the coolest trend for hair in 2010...The Side Braids!! okay so now i regret getting my hair cut soo short.. i mean my hair was sooo long and then i felt like a needed a change and I chopped off my hair to the shoulders by my self and then i went to a professional and he made a super short assimetrical cut.. now don't get me wrong.. i totally look like a model--very fashionista and all but sometimes i miss my hairlike right now to make this awesome braids! now I wish my hair grow quickly!

Well since there aren't any rules in this hair style im going to show you the pros for this trend which are A LOT!

• It goes super with any hair color!
• Can be wore with any clothes
• super great for all year long
• If you have a fringe its okay.. look the picture of Abby Lee Kershaw
• Its looks great with ZERO make up
• It looks perfect If you are on the go like grocery shopping or if its a party night;)
• If you stayed too long on the pool or you forgot to put on your cream to protect your hair from the sun rays and there with you is your crush..(obviously you are going to try to impress him but what are you going to do with that rat's nest?) easy peasy!! You are going to Side Braided!
• Its awesome for any kind of hair so those of you who have "difficult" hair like me or have a lot of volume like me also hehe then what a better way to keep your hair from your face and look Fab?

BOYFRIEND BLAZERS!

So boyfriends pants, boyfriend shirts and now.. boyfriend blazers! ok ok I know that these have been very popular all year long but for this spring it would become ever more... I was dying to write about this trend because i love blazers and I'm a little obsessed with black blazer over white tees ( even though with my city's temperature it's almost impossible to wear them..)

How to wear them?

Well, it's pretty simple.. there are just 2 basic rules...

1.Make it Oversized

Any boyfriend fashion trend is about wearing clothing that looks a size too big for you, hence, as if you've borrowed it from your boyfriend. It's no different with the boyfriend blazer fashion trend here. The key is to only go up one size; it shouldn't swallow you. Look to have the jacket's shoulders coming no more than an inch and a half away from your own.

2.Roll up your sleeves

No, this isn't a recommendation to get to work but rather the crucial element of the boyfriend blazer trend. Rolling or pushing up the sleeves on the blazer goes to balance out the look by implying that the sleeves would otherwise be too long for your arms; also exposing the wrists to make the look more feminine.
